- First of all, if you are using a VPN we recommend disabling that.
- If you are on mobile data, try moving into an area with a better signal strength and ensure you are using a 4G/5G connection
- If this doesn’t work, try playing on a Wi-Fi connection while being as close as possible to the Wi-Fi router in your location.
- If this doesn't work, try resetting your Wi-Fi router.
- If that doesn’t work, your Wi-Fi connection may not be suitable for gameplay, for a variety of reasons. Try playing on a different WiFi connection and see if it improves.
In addition, the following has been known to resolve Wi-Fi connection issues:
iOS
- Close the game
- Enter your device's Settings > Wi-Fi > Configure DNS > Set to Manual > Delete any DNS servers in the list > Add Server > Enter 8.8.8.8 > Tap Save
- Turn on Airplane mode, leaving it 5 seconds, then turn Airplane mode off again
- Launch the game and see if that improves things
Android
- Close the game
- Enter your device's Settings > Wi-Fi > Hold down on your Wi-Fi connection > Modify Network > Advanced Options > DHCP > Set to Static > Delete any DNS servers in the list > Add 8.8.8.8 > Tap Save
- Turn on Airplane mode, leaving it 5 seconds, then turn Airplane mode off again
- Launch the game and see if that improves things
